Ed Osborn and Blevin Blectum, In The Garden of Sonic Delights 9/6

Palm House Transect (2014) is a large-scale, site-specific sound installation by Ed Osborn developed as a part of the exhibition In the Garden of Sonic Delights for the Greenhouse at the Lyndhurst Mansion. The piece consists of a generative sound composition built from field recordings and electronic tones, which are played through a set of twenty-eight loudspeakers spread irregularly throughout the Greenhouse structure. This is augmented by a site-specific live performance which features Ed Osborn and guest artist Blevin Blectum (violin & electronics), on Saturday, September 6th at 3pm.
